07 cbr loses power at 8k help
i have a stock cbr1000 that loses all power once i reach 8k i have full power the whole way till 8k the bike just stops gaining. i have to let off the gass then give it more or i can shift and it will have power all again until i get to 8k
any help would be awsome

has it been crashed up and all street figtered out. sprayed the piss out of drag raced, mint never ridden with 500miles on it?
when it looses power and you let off, then have to get back in it, does the power come back or is it just dead above 8k no matter what.
as is it could be any of the above said stuff.

well it needs air, spark and fuel. I normally start with what's easy to check. air, just check the filter isn't clogged to shit. spark will be hard because it only happens at 8k but still runs. fuel you can change the filter but I don't believe they have test ports so you can put a gauge on it.
another idea, does your bike have the valve in the exhaust still, maybe that isn't opening when it should. most open around that rshared_pm. that is if honda even has one.
