One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

Skydiving is SOOOOOO much fun! I have been twice, the first was a static line jump and the second was a tandem as I wanted to experience the 45 second free fall. Both times were great! It is the ONLY thing I have found that is better than my bike when it comes to adrenaline rush potential! Unfortunately, it is expensive as hell, especially if you want to get to the point where you can free fall on your own.
In any case, most of the drop zones will give you big discounts for large groups, so if you post up a date and get a preliminary head count you can negotiate for the best rates. Once you get a "good" quote on a discount rate, let everyone know and I bet you head count goes up a bit.
I would be down for a jump in a month or so assuming I can scratch together some cash for a jump. I have actually been trying to get a group from my work to go for some time now but everyone is either too big a pussy or says they cannot afford it.
