You mean you think you know. As in, you're actually wrong. Head trauma is the leading cause of death on motorcycles. Protect your fucking head. I ride a cruiser, sometimes for hours at a time, and I rock a bigass bulky helmet that people call the "vader helmet" its so fucking big. And I have no idea what this 'buffetting' you speak of is because it never happens to me, and I can cruise comfortably at 50 or smack the throttle and weave around like a pesudo-sportbike...but I'm not exhausted after a long trip. You're doing something wrong.

 

BAMF, does your cruiser have a windshield on it like most other "cruisers"?

And yes, I know that head trauma is the leading cause of death in a motorcycle accident. What I'm saying is that bashing your face/chin is the least of your worries if you go down. At least it is if I go down. I mean, the way I see it...If I go down, I'm trying to tuck and roll or simply flatten out and slide. The few times I HAVE been down, it has served me well.

In fact, he says "JUST 2 RELAX AND TAKE A RIDE FOR A FEW HOURS". So, to ME, relaxing and riding is what I like to do....Going around and doing wheelies, speeding , and stoppies or endo's, is not "relaxing". And if it degrades into that, then I will go elsewhere to finish my ride.....AS I SAID BEFORE. I'm done talking with you now, because all you seem to be able to do is try to stir up TRauma.

 

ok so i've read threads b4 of ppl talkin lots of smack and i have 2 say this shit is just childish shit so fuckin wat if i use CAPS maybe i wanted 2 call attention( obisously i did) all i wanted 2 do is meet up with a few riders and ride out oh and i dont do stunts but hey if no1 shows up then its all good ill just ride solo no big deal but its still on!!! Er, no. I don't have a windshield on my cruiser. I'll never put a windshield on my cruiser. When I want a windshield I go ahead and throw in side windows, doors, a seat, A/C, a radio....you know, a car.

 

LOL The reason I ask is because people who have one, don't experience the buffeting. Now, I only experience it at around 55-70 mph...(Never really been much over 70) I never experience it at lower speeds. The others I'v spoken to about it (who ride street bikes) have also experienced it. But then again, you're a BAMF, so maybe thats the difference. LOL I'm not a BAMF....but I'm tall...and not really "big", but I'm decently built...I guess... No homo

Dunno.... The thing I DON'T like about the 1/2 helmet is the wind noise. I swear...I almost have to wear earplugs when I plan on going on a long trip.

 

So... How did this ride go? Was it a nice relaxed ride around the city or did it turn into some Biker Boyz bullshit? Did anyone show up?

here's my 2 cents. 2 weeks ago, I hit the back of a car. the car stopped short on me. I knew I was going to hit him, so I swirved to miss him just to hit another car that was in a left turn lane. I thought I had room to get by. just my fucking luck!! I hit him instead, but not straight on though. I went over the handle bars and hit chin first. thank god I was wearing a full face helmet. It cracked the helmet at the chin, but I got up with minor scarps and bruising on my arms and left leg. so please, wear a full face helmet. it's just not worth taking a chane!!!

 

LOL Actually I am. And MY ride was relaxing...I never found him. Neither one of them. Oh well.
