Default Help please, thank you

found a hole in my radiator tube. replaced it. added fluid. still is overheating. i didn't add the fluid directly into the radiator. i put in the the revisor type deal that says coolant fluid. did i fuck up? im a rookie.

might not be correct, but its closer...

I think the reservoir is where it goes...guess I'm not much help...

yes... when it cools off, open the radiator cap and fill it up. it also helps to start the bike with the cap still off to get some of the air out. but alot of times there's still some trapped in there that won't come out till the Tstat opens.


there's a few different ways to get that last little bit out. but most of the time i just fill it, start it, top it off, put the cap back on and go ride it till its up to temp. as long as it doesn't over heat, wait till the next day when its cool again and take the cap off, start it and top it off again. by then it should be fine and pull the last bit of water it needs out of the resvisvor tank.

res should have a high fill mark on it...you fill the system at the rad cap then to the fill line on res tank

no.. did it sound like I meant that?

anyways, no. as said above. there's hot and cold fill lines on it. fill to which ever the bike is at the time.

those are what those hash lines are for. my resavor is full. i have nothing to syphin it. am i going to be ok. shouldn't it just spill over??
