So how do you go about checking if one of the stolen bikes is yours or not? I had a bike lifted in 2006 (could be the red and black GSX-R1000 in the pictures). I am sure it is a LONG shot considering how long it has been since the theft, but still, doesn't hurt to check. Will the cops run the VINs and contact the owners?

My girlfriend and I actually busted a rookie running a chop shop out of the apartment below ours in Nov. 2008. The idiot kept reving up the stolen bikes in his apartment, which filled our apartment with exhaust as we lived directly above him, so we ended up calling the cops and there you go, no more apartment chop shop. There were only two stolen bikes and the owners were notified immediately. Not sure if that is standard or not, as I still have a nagging desire to locate my long lost bike.

I would contact Chris and ask him for the detective's number.

Question... Is the TR user Rob_@_Rads the same person as ROBERT MOIR that was supposedly the one stealing bikes? He hasn't posted on here since September. I know Conrad only had a couple of employees.

Individual's Charge Report

Also, I'm not accusing Conrad or his shop of any wrong doing in this matter. He seems like an honest guy and I don't have any reason to believe he has anything shady going on.

Yeah, I read bits and pieces at work. Sucks for that bike club cause that name is now on every single patrol deputy's mind that will spot a bike and check out the club name.

I know its not their fault but its the way it is now with everyone.

Thats crazy, I havent confirmed it with him, but in the 3rd pic the Gixxer 1000 to the left looks exactly like my friends bike that was stolen the 3rd of January.
