spark plugs have kicked my ass before on two strokes. if you have fuel and compression that leaves spark as the problem. i bet that spark plug is grounding out. pull the spark plug and plug it into the coil wire. touch the spark plug threads to the engine and kick start it. most likely you will see the spark jump from the threads and not the electrode.
+1
Ive had that happen. I learned real quick that with 2 strokes almost every problem can be solved by a new plug lol

think i got it, pulle dthe head and dam! about 4mm wide and from top to bottom theres a gouge in the cylinder wall. the pistin where the ring meets was messed up so seems i need a new top end
which sucks because i just spent 140 on new piston/ring/gaskets, now i need to either bore it or get a stock replacement used. thinking either the gas/oil was wrong but it ran fine for a whole day with no problems or it overheated on me on a trail when i was going slow? or i installe dit wrong somehow

who knows man, you coulda put the piston in backwards for all you know. this stuff is touchy. since its a 125 id just bore it bro. otherwise your going to need a new sleeve and that shit gets pricey. did you atleast coat the cylinder walls with 2 stroke oil when you installed it? did you heat cycle it in the drive way 2 or 3 times bro? i bet you didnt break in that top end right. its a process....lmk when you got the parts for it again i'll help you out.
