an improperly mounted tag is actually another 1k fine..so if you only got 150 for it...count your fucking blessings.
2 to 5 month hang up is actually a good thing...as the officer who ticketed you may forget and decide not to fight it...
Lopez is known around the bay area to either get the case thrown out. Or get a lesser fine and no points on your license.

sounds like a plan. details are i was by myself, late at nite. came out of a light pretty hot, gave it more throttle then usual in first, she came up really fast, and i put it down slow and softly so that i didnt risk takin a nose dive over the handlebars or bustin fork seals and risking further injury and just so happen to fly by a state trooper while doing so...

All he has to do is show up and say he saw you doing a wheelie. He is a "trained professional" so his word trumps yours and you get convicted. Sucks, but that is how it works. Your best bet is to just throw yourself at the mercy of the judge and ask for no points and reduced fines. The catch there is that if you do it they will probably laugh at you, but if you pay a lawyer to do the exact same thing they will probably do it. The whole damn thing is a racket.

I've used ticketclinic.com (1-800-CITATION) several times, overall satisfied, except that one douchebag that forgot to show up at court and I got stuck with the ticket. Just call them several times before the appt. and make sure they remember. Prices were reasonable.
