congrats on getting an actual learners bike to... LEARN ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

finally someone in BT that isnt a complete moron!

remember, the MSF is a good class and all but theres no excuse for ANYONE who is riding on 2 wheels to not go to a parking lot AT THE VERY LEAST, 1 time a month to practice some tight slow speed manuvers, turning your head and eyes, and practicing quick stops.

all of those little exercises will make you a much sharper rider, so when things get hairy out on the road you dont hesistate.. you just react and you arent rusty!

sorry for the rant, but ride safe, practice and have fun!

p.s. bike looks good btw +REP

w00t Kouki + Kawi = win

I wanted a new 250 myself, since i had an 07 earlier last year. Great bike to learn on, and amazing mileage. I couldn't find a new one and i would've been on a waiting list for awhile so i ended up getting a 650r earlier this month instead, which is basically a bigger Ninja 250/500.

You'll learn this in the MSF class, but the most important thing is to look where you want to go, don't look/concentrate at the ground. Also, use the clutch/trottle and counterweighting.

Here's a pic of counterweighting and use of the clutch
