Rider down at 275 south bound right after over pass for airport,I believe they said his name was "t" a bigger black male it looked like,(didnt wanna stay and cause issues for help) he was riding a new cbr black went down and was struck by another car which flipped from what i saw he didnt make it wasnt moving or breathing . . RIP prayers with him and his family. .

 

I heard about this from a first hand encounter. Was the rider a member of TR?

I rode up into the accident about 60 secs after it happened. . it wasnt a pretty site.

FHP: Motorcyclist speeding before I-275 crash that killed him

TAMPA -- Troopers say a 22-year-old man who died in an accident along Interstate 275 early today was speeding on his motorcycle before crashing.

Terrance Terrell Turner of Tampa died at the scene of the accident on southbound I-275, south of State Road 60, about 12:25 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said that Turner was traveling "at an extremely high rate of speed" in the inside lane of 275 as he approached a slower traveling vehicle and tried to avoid hitting the car in front of him.

As Turner began to brake, he lost control of his 2005 Honda motorcycle and slid under the 1995 Toyota Camry he was trying to avoid.

The impact caused the Camry's driver, 35-year-old Jose Luis Pineda Cortez of Tampa, to lose control and rotate counter clockwise before striking a median barrier wall.

Pineda Cortez was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with minor injuries. Troopers said a passenger inside the Camry was uninjured.

thanks for the update. these idiots going fast on crowded streets will weed themselves out eventually. i just hope they dont take anyone with them.

 

i was out there last night, and stopped to do anything i could...RIP Terrance...

i know all of the people he rides with and i must say that this couldn't have happened to a better group of riders...it is truly tragic..

apparently he was chasing another rider, when he tried to go in between two cars at around 120-140mph...one of the cars tried to change lanes with his blinker on, and Terrance had no time to react...unfortunatly his brother was riding right behind him, and had to suffer while he watched his brother die. it was a tragic event, but there is much love in that group of riders, and his family will know that he won't be forgotten...

thank you to everyone who stopped last night when they saw the wreck to try to offer any type of assistance and even some who just stopped and tried to offer some kind words to the family and friends! it was greatly appreciated...
