Default Adjusting clutch lever and shift linkage 07gsxr

Whats the best place for your clutch to be adjusted for riding mine grabs around 3/4 out if I try to tighten it up more it usually won't go into neutral or its really hard to get it there. Also where should the shift linkage be or is it just preference for what kind of footwear you wear and how much room you need?

The gear shifter should be neutral with the natural angle of foot in your riding boots. Any higher, or lower, and it will be rather uncomfortable for you to change gears quickly and repeatedly because you'll constantly have to fight against your boot.

the clutch adjustment can be found here
