so today i start the bike(cbr 600 f2) and when it fires up it sounds like a fucken subaru.

so i start asking my self wtf is wrong with it..i let the bike warm up, i take it out for a ride and the rpms wont pick up as fast they should...when the bike is at idle it idles fine but when i rev it it kinda hesitates. also when the bike is revved up past 7 rpms the choke lever shoots up and shuts my bike off.

so i think its one of the followoing.

a) i need a new ecm.
b) one of the pilots are clogged.
c) my choke is fucked...creating all the problems I mentioned.
d) i need a valve job?
e) im a noob.

im going with e cause im pretty sure its something ridiculous.

please help.

wish i could hear it run, would be able to make a better suggestion but a lot of peole like the way subarus sound! take that bitch out to a sooby meet

 

i wouldnt be much of a help but i would check the carb/ fuel lines (pinched line maybe). sounds like its not getting enough fuel in high rpms



but then again im a newb when it comes to carbs

LOL no. no sooby meet. but i think it might be the choke cable and im gonna need some service done to it...cause it makes the same sound as when the choke is on (sooby sound).

i just took it for another ride and as soon as i got to 7k rpms the choke lever jumped up and shut my bike off.

so i guess that kinda solves some of my noob problem..so hopefully that is the problem.. and hopefully after it gets serviced everything goes back to normal.
