I think this is the first time in the history of bike tech I had to defend someone badmouthing a squidbiker.....I mean man, he was obeying the laws, he wasn't riding like a jackoff as far as we know...someone else broke the law, hit him, and then fled the scene...and you have no sympathy for the rider?

The nature of two wheeled vehicles is such that there are a massive amount of hazards on the road. Sand, water, oil...Those things can lay a bike down in a heartbeat.

Someone who wears no gear demonstrates that they dont give a shit about those hazards, and they dont give a shit about themselves.

Why should they deserve any sympathy from me?

What we do is dangerous, and we should take precautions to minimize injury. All of us that have been down before with gear preach this stuff all the time.

Ever notice that the majority of gear-less riders (tshirt, sneakers, regular jeans, maybe a helmet) have *never* been down?

Every time I confront them about it, they say "well, let's hope that doesnt happen".

Gear or not... these news are really disturbing.

Let's not focus on the riders choice of protective gear, that is not the news here. Besides, we all know what that choice got him... that's the end of that story...

Now that bitch that drove off, should be made an example of publicly. Let other cagers out there know, they have a resposibility to face that can ruin the rest of their live's if they run away from it.
