Yeah. I have a mental picture of you as Sloth because of your avatar, so anything that you say that isn't a BAMF post, then I will enjoy your commentary. You can't attack me personally because you don't know me, so have at it. Speak your mind...

OOOOHHHHH HE said it! "You know what else really grinds my gears...not being able to find the droid ur looking for!"

seriously though ur right. people like that guy should be in jail and old people need to be put through a mandatory driving test to renew their license after age 55. shit god knows there are some days that my dad should not be driving and hes only 53.

Well.. Long story short.. My brother was nearly killed by a drunk cager, on his bike, spent a week in the hospital... She didnt have a valid license. She backhanded one from the state of nevada after the fact she lost hers here due to a previous DUI here. She spent less than a year in jail, and she is forbidden to drive for a while. Like it stopped her before?? She was ordered to pay a monthly restitution of $200 for ten years. however, if she goes to school she doesnt have to pay.. if she pops out a few more kids that she cant pay for... she doesnt have to pay. So pretty much, she'll never end up paying.

Point is the state doesn't give a fuck about riders.... Plain and simple, here this bitch was completly in the wrong, and left my brother with a fucked up leg for the rest of his life.. And she gets off with a slap on the wrist, and then be able to legally drive in a few years.

Think the laws will ever change? they wont, the riding community doesn't have a big enough lobby to change a damn thing. The only thing the state is doing is passing more laws, to make the rider's life more difficult.. Even if you read the papers, or watch the news, when was the last time the media told the whole story, what you hear is "today on Busch boulevard a motorcycle struck a vehicle." Instead of what is more of the truth "A drunk driver killed a motorcyclist." Face it, we are in a loosing battle.

Are you saying that they let this dude go??!! What kind of bullshit is that?
I really think the laws are fucked. You can get years in jail for littering but when you kill someone with a vehicle that you shouldnt be using to begin with cuz "The Man" said so, they just give you a ticket and say have a nice day?
Bullshit.

I don't think he was responding to you, but either way, you are right. The law is fucked up and seriously flawed. It would have to take Arnold Schwarzenegger becoming president or governor of Florida, then have him die by a drunk driver or some other weird fatality. It really is frustrating knowing that the "bad guys" that know how to beat the system, do. Everyone else gets the backhand by the rules.

Ultimately, we can't do much good. Maybe we could waste our collaborative time and money bitching to the state about a law that they'll never enforce, but why?

there's no point because we don't have the money to fill the politicians pockets.. Or to give them expensive callgirls and hookers.
