Default Technology Geeks!! Help!!

I'm looking to download some type of program (free) that I can edit songs to make them ring tones. They will be in mp3 format. Any ideas? Help!

if your phone supports mp3 and u just want to use that certain part in the song for ur ringtone. heres one of many way to do it.

download http://files6.majorgeeks.com/files/a...a/mp3DC209.exe

info about the prog: mpesch3.de - Homepage of mp3DirectCut and 1by1 - free mp3 editor+recorder and audio directory player

open the file and leave everything default

if its doesn't support MP3 then u have to convert it to wav >edit> save as wav> convert to whatever ur phone supports using this http://media-convert.com/

read more on http://www.howardforums.com/

free ringtone sites (i've never use it)

Chris uses a program called audacity or something along those lines. It works well, I've made a few ring tones with it. I think you need a wav to mp3 converter cuz it outputs wav. My phone supports wav so I dont bother.

there's also a website online called myxertones.com

you can upload whatever song you want and cut the part that you want..or can search for songs and customize the clip..then it just sends it to your phone as a picture text

you do have to sign up but its completely free
