Default question on lowering my 07 gsxr 750?

I Bought The Rear Lowering Link And Put It In.. Easy Easy.. Rear Is Done..

But The Front Is My Problem..
It Is Hard To Explain But Its Like The Forks Go From Fat To Skinny Its Like They Are Sleeved?? I Loosened Up All The Bolts To Lower It And It Drops Down Like Its Supposed To But You Cant Tighten The Handle Bars Or The Upper Bracket Down Because Its Like The Fork Goes From Fat To Skinny. I Could Only Lower The Front Like 1/2 Inch. Before It Gets Skinny.. Just Lmk If U Have Any Idea.. I Know Its Hard To Explain..

I know exactly what you are talking aobut. the diamiter of teh fork tube at the top is 43mm and as you slide down toward the wheel, it gets smaller, like 38mm and the triple tree clamps wont tight up on the forks now.

I just hate that, I guess that one way the Japanese guys can help you learn to ride the bike the way it was ment to be

(sorry I am bias)

need tires (take offs)? PM me
need a deal on a track day? PM me

disclaimer: I sell used tires (take-offs), these tires have been used at Jennings, Homestead, etc. (road courses for those that dont know) therefor these tires are more used up on the sides than in the middle,

The solution to your problem would be to buy a Kawasaki.

If you are really sure you want to lower it, which in my opinion means you drag race and should have gone with a larger displacement, just use a shim like cited above. The real question is why would you want to lower a 750cc bike?
