Default Super power wheelie

So... Sunday afternoon I decided go for a spin and had an itch for some speed... On a nameless private road, I managed to power wheelie through all 6 gears (up to about 150). I've never seen this done before without turbo or gearing. Anyone else ever done it?

By this do you mean you pulled it up in first and shifted through the gears.. then yes i have done this on a few bikes.. be careful shifting durring wheelies it can be quite dangerous unless you really know your bike

Yes, pulled in 1st (wasn't trying) and clutchless shifted. I wanna try again but not sure if I want to press my luck. I know my bike well, but I don't usually practice wheelies.

Clutchless shifting unless downshifting has proved to be ok.. Ive done it and put almost 15000 miles on a bike doing so and have not had any issues.. But doing wheelies and shifting usually is not a good idea.. maybe get it up in 2nd and go to third but going through all of the gears is really pushing it. Get it up in 2nd and hold the balance point you should have no problem going as long as u want. Just cover that back break for safety all of the time.. it will save your ass..

So you actually mean you "cat walked" the bike from a first gear power wheelie all the way out to 6th. You don't need power to shift while holding a wheelie, just great balance and throttle control. Power wheelie implies you are actually bringing it up in 6th gear without using the clutch, just the throttle, in which case you need a whole shit load of power (this is where the turbo would come in).

I would be really careful shifting while doing wheelies if you do not practice stunts on a regular basis... lots can go wrong, especially when you don't even mean to bring the front end up in the first place.

If you did it on purpose, congrats... I am sure it is not easy to do. I am still too chicken shit to even try 1st to 2nd.
