Random thinking while stuck in traffic today
i am ambidextrous.
im right handed when i write, eat and punch someone.
im left handed when i jack my dick,
when i proceed to kick someone, i use my left foot: my right knee to dead leg someone.
left fingers to play paintball (walking the trigger) and to finger teh ladies
i can go on and on, but you get the picture.

Ok, yeah you have a dominant foot when walking and putting pant legs on, but if you re read you'll see I put not dominant LIKE your hands, meaning that yeah you have a dominant leg but the majority of the time we dont really notice the dominance of a leg or foot because more often than not we just think of them as things we walk on and balance on, where as our hands IMO are used for a more wider range of things.
This really was a serious question, I really wanna know how difficult or easy it was for some lefties to adjust to the throttle on the right. So if you dont have a bike or ride on a regular basis then please, your input is not needed.

Yeah, I really appreciate your apology. I've been sitting here all night butt-hurt and balled up under my blanket crying and thinking about how much I really care what Bite_Size says to me when I ask a question about riding and he doesnt even ride.
Like you said, most ppl are right handed, only 10% of ppl are lefties and there is no sense in accommodating for those 10% because it is such a minority. I don't even see why it would matter whether you use your left or right hand to twist the throttle anyways...
Its just one of those things that I was wondering about and wanted to see if anyone else wondered it at all too.
BTW- an old track coach once told me, lean all the way forward like you are going to fall forward. What ever foot you thrust forward to hold you up is the leg that is most dominant and stronger. He said its possible to be left handed and right footed and vice versa.

It really has nothing to do with being left-handed or left-brained. I'm a lefty, BTW.
Being left-handed only means 2 things, I write with my left hand and my left hand is more accurate/more powerful (in a sense). For example, I fight South paw, that means I fight with my right hand in front, which reserves the more powerful punches to come from my left.
99.999% of people use a computer mouse on the right, I can't operate it the other way around, I can throw and catch just fine with either hand, I shift gears in my car on the right, the gas is on the right, etc.
It's all accommodation, we do it as we learned it. Had the first car had the gas petal on the left, we would've all learned to drive it like that. Many people in the world can operate both LHD and RHD cars without much thought.
It would be no more convenient for me to have the throttle on the left, it would be no more convenient to have the mouse on the left, it would be no less convenient for you either, that is, assuming we all learned to do it that way from the start. The throttle and brake are both on your right side because that is how it is in a car, additionally, the gas and brake are operated by the same hand/foot because it's *intended* that you will not need both at the same time. The clutch, which may be operated during either brake or throttle is on the opposing side OBVIOUSLY since you can not do all 3 with one hand/foot.
