so i had a 98 zx-6r, 02 954 RR. it's been a long time since i sold them. what does everyone think about the new R1? I love the looks, plus they have a special promotion for 99 a month for 3 years( i know that won't pay off the bike, i just want the low payments). how much off msrp can i negotiate off? thanks in advance.

 

I have a friend that works in parts sales at Barneys in St Pete.. he might have a few friends in the sales dept that might be able to make your deal less painful.

u dont wanna pay the $99 a month. it will just push you back on payments. pay it as much as you can so u dont have to pay so much interest for it later.

 

no doubt, I'm going through a few things right now and prefer the option of having the 99 minimum payment. but when i'm in a stronger position, i will definetly be making bigger payments.

 

I had a blue 08 r1 for 2 months put 6k miles on it. I absolutly loved it except for the insurance rate. It was fast fun and sexy as shit. Me and it unfortunatly ate a curb on 30 so moving on haha. You will love the bike though man.

 

If u get it, it will run hot and it will tick ive owned to yamis and theyv both done that. Dont freak out.

try making at least $500 payments every month. im doing mine $1k a month now that im doing pretty well. $4500 more and im done.
