The cahills on armenia wanted 10,500 out the door. ouch. is this a bad price on the new r6s? They had an 07 r1 they wanted to get rid pof brand new for 10300 out the door. Anyone able to hook me up with a deal? Ive been to the ride now on 19 but havent looked at the prices much. if anyone knows someone that can get me a good deal let me know im interested in getting a bike this week.

$10.5 seems to be an average price for a new R6. I'd take the 07 R1 for $10k.. I paid $13k+ for mine. The 07 and 08 R1 are exactly the same other than different colors.

yeah im still leaning towards the r6. i way about 180 and although ive been riding motocross my whole life this is going to be my first street bike and i dont want to overdue it.

Not that I'm encouraging you to go with an R1 as your first street bike, but I started out about a year ago on my 07.. Powerwise it's pretty tame compared to other litre bikes until you really get up in the RPM range. Depending on what kind of riding you do the R6 is probably going to be kind of a drag if you're going to be riding around town much. I LOVE the new R6, but I wouldn't have one as my primary bike due to the fact that they're pretty gutless down low. It's more of a track orientated bike.

yeah ive talked to him hes your boyfriend right? tomorrows the only day my co signer and can make it this week and my time window is about 11:20-2:30 so i really need to know what kind of deal he can get me cause I might just get the r1 from cahills on armenia. if you can let me know tonight that would be great. Im interested in possibly a cheap 07 r1 or what kind of deal he could get me for an 08 r6. he'll remember me my friend was going to get a bike and i dont think his credit went through. thanks
