And despite common misconception, performing a wheelie to be more visible while passing a vehicle isn't the best practice in the DMV's mind.

So if you and a buddy are out riding, and he takes off down an unnamed road, and you follow. Then you pull up to the light and some old man next to you rolls down his window and tells you something along the lines of "my grandson blah blah just died from driving them bikes like that, he was not even 21 (refers to your under 21 tag)". So you sit there for a second or two thinking with nothing to say, then mutter "ummm ok?" as the light turns green then rip a wheelie down the street riding away. Does this make you a bad / mean person?

However, it does up the odds of you being in the next "Rider Down" thread.

One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”
