i just bought a 2007 gxsr 600 like 3 months ago, got hit buy a semi and 6900 dollars worth of damage. normally when you buy a total bike back from insurance how much do they want??

first off, is the bike worth buying back??? how is the frame and forks?
I have never bought a bike from an Ins company so I cant answer that, but just keep a level head about buying back,
also what are your plans with the bike if you buy it back? I dont think you can get a title for it, you have to get a C.O.D. therefor you wont be able to tag it/insure it and put it back on the streets.

disclaimer: I sell used tires (take-offs), these tires have been used at Jennings, Homestead, etc. (road courses for those that dont know) therefor these tires are more used up on the sides than in the middle,

frame and forks are fine the only think wrong with it is something with the front brakes and header is bent all the rest is cosmetic. i planed on making a stunt bike

front brakes and header? that jus screams bent forks to me.. how are u sure that the frame is ok? and if u were hit by a semi how is the front of the bike messed up?
In all honesty the money you would by it back for and build it into a stunt bike would be like buying 2 or 3 crappy bikes or stunt bikes. hell Knightmare (jen) had a 06 ZX6R that i was interested in buying after someone pulled out infront of her and she told me they wanted 3k and change for the bike, and the front was trashed. so figure 3-4k for the bike plus 1k in parts to make it rideable and fix the front end and then about 1k for bars, cage, sprocket, chain, etc. your talkin 5k minimum to have a 07 stunt bike.

well im not exactly sure the forks are ok but from the guys at team savage where the bike is now they say the frame isnt bent. i heard you could buy a total back for like 500 but wasnt sure
