Does anyone have one? I went and checked out the '08 CBR 600RR and 1000RR, but the one I want (the remodeled one) isn't out until around february/march time and i'm gonna wait for that, but who has/whos ridden an 08? It was comfortable compared to others i've ridden (GSXR 1000, R6, ZX6R,SV1000S) and the light weight of the 600 was amazing. The steering was nice to, the guy was explaining it to me how its better for low speeds and easier to turn, and tightens up at higher speeds (like power steering on a car 
). So who has one and wants to give me some insight on what you think about it, and if its worth getting over the other 3 major sport bike competitors. Thanks rep will be given.

wow...lots of questions in that post...um...as far as the 08 CBR 1KRR, nobody other than Honda test riders and Pro Racers have ridden the bike...like all new generation machines, the are not released for sale until the 1st quarter of the new year...so nobody really knows anything about the bike...
as far as the CBR600rr..its basically the same bike as the 07...(the supersport and superbikes by the big 4 are changed on a 2 year development cycle...hence most have 2 model year machines that are exactly the same)
The CBR600 has been highly touted as one of the best sportbikes ever built and scored very high in all magazine tests and the MasterBike shootout....SportRider had it up with the GSXR1K and Ducati 1098 for Bike of The Year....
as far as what bike to get.......a Kawasaki.....

Chad is right... the 08 CBR1k has yet to have gotten a full mag review as well... the 08 zx10 has gotten a couple already.
I'll be honest... you may prefer the 08's looks. But if you can get a left over 07 CBR1k for a good price, I'd go for it. It's an amazing sport bike.

For the reference that no one has ridden the 08 1000, i meant the one thats out now, not the next generation one thats not out yet.

no...the 2008 is a complete revamp....the 06/07 are the same bike (1Krr that is)....
and i have to agree with previous statement about the left over 07...they are fantastic all around litre bikes....
all that said....still get a Kawi...
