Default suggestion on tires?

Ok, So I'm finally at a point were I need tires for my bike, and well I'm not to sure on what to get. I'm not even sure on the size or anything.

What do you guys recommend for an 07' busa?

Please don't flame me. I'm just looking for opinions.

-Tek

EDIT: after a little research I found that the 07' busa's tire sizes are Tires Front:120/70-ZR-17Tires Rear:190/50-ZR-17

Not too sure what the numbers mean. Thanks.

real quick lesson the tire size is (width in mm/% of the width that equals the sidewall height - tire speed rating - rim size)

search for "tire" in the search menu's advanced function and filter it down to just Bike Tech...Theres been pages and pages on this topic

oh, and ya dont need new tires till the steel belts are slapping your undertail j/k

Looks like I'm going to go with Pirelli Diablo SuperSport tires.

anyone got any input on them?

EDIT: mmmm not to sure now, I'm looking for something that will last long. I do quite a bit of riding, so I want them to last more that 3k miles.

Are there no busa forums around... Busa riders range from drag racers to sport tourers... they should have quite a bit of exp with tires on Busas.

The Diablos are a great tire. You may want to look at Pilot Roads or HPX, Bridgestone BT56, Conti Road Attack and other sport touring tires that may give you more milage if that is important to ya.

Look I think I'm leaning towards Pirelli Diablo Strada - Rear Tires - Read Reviews and Buy at KneeDraggers.com
Anyone got some input for me. Need to know from other people that have been riding big bikes.

Not around here... I don't think there is any interest in high milage sport tires in this forum...

Alright will do, I'm looking between that Avon Storm - ST, and the Pirelli Diablo Strada.

far as I know they discontinuned that Storm ST and replaced it with the Viper, But as far as I'm really finding so far (not much search yet) All they have in the Viper sets are the Sports, Which are more high-performance.

My problem is I drive 50 miles a day, going to and from work. so after My 5 days thats around 250 miles. and with tires only lasting 3.5k miles (that was the stock tires) I have about 14 weeks of Life..

So far the Diablo Strada I have read great things about it getting an average of 8k miles. Compaired to the Avon Storm ST are running around 5-6k average.

Well, I acutally have some work to do for once here, maybe if I'm not to lazy at home or tomorrow I'll get back into looking for more tires, I'll be glad to give my opinion on Which set I get.

Also If any other busa riders have any input on tires I would really love to hear about it.
