Default Good bike dealers around here?

I'm looking into a new motorcycle. Not in a huge rush, so I have time to sit and look around for a deal. I'm leaning more towards one of the Yamaha or Kawasaki cruisers, but will also consider things like a Honda or a Harley cruiser.

Anyways, the question. What are the good local bike shops that aren't shady and won't rip me off? My current bike might be worth 800 private party on a good day, its old and in fair condition, but runs 100% - if they accept trades that would kick ass, I dunno how bike shops do things. Not looking to spend more than maybe 4k financed, and in addition to my bike I can put down 1,000 more.

Thanks in advance.

So you're looking to spend around 6k, no more than 4k on a loan?

Sebring has good prices but i don't know what they have in you're price range but as far as new bikes they give great deals just so they can compete with the big guys.

My philosophy has been, if your going to give your money away, give it to someone you know.

So Drewster, whats the deal with that V-Star I saw on the site? Nice looking bike, probably slow as dogpiss even compared to my Virago 750, but a nice looking bike and the price is good.

You guys got anything else like that? Trying to stay under 500-525 lbs for the bike weight.

Hey, didn't want to create a new thread and clutter up this forum, but does anyone know anything about the Honda Magnas? The late 90s Magna 750s are pretty appealing to me. They look sweet and have some serious balls to them for a cruiser. Almost 90 HP and 51 lbs of torque in a 500lb bike. May not seem like a lot to your sportbike guys, but running the 1/4 in 12.7 is pretty good to a cruiser rider.

Anyways, any experiences with them, anyone? The only problem I forsee...and don't laugh...is I might be too short. My Virago has a 27 inch high seat and I can JUST rest my feet flat on the ground while sitting upright, but if I slouch the heels of my feet come up. This thing has a 28" seat. Being 5'5" sucks...
