BT-002 Question
do they come in different compounds because i can only find one? I'm really surprised you can get a set for around 250 as apposed to over 300 for the power races. Anyway, can someone with experience in these tires explain the compound differences to me because im confused... thanx
any thoughts on where to buy?

Check out azbridgestone.com That's where I ordered mine from. The BT002 ST is the hard compound/street tire.

Does it affect you that much that some random guy 1500 miles away went and paid his own money for a 1000?
Do we really have to fight over who uses the back brake or not?
Do you have to argue over stupid pointless shit on the Internet?

I have ridden on the BT02's... I prefer the 2cts , but only because of the time for warm up...as a street tire , the 2ct i feel is better because it heats up alot quicker.... how ever the BT02s are much stickier once warm.. like glue on the road... Which me and raul were talking about a while back , would make a much better track tire , cause its much less time to warm up a tire on the track then the road.... But they are a very good tire...
yeah their up there in prices... mediums i wouldnt necessarily use for a multi purpose... if your talking track , the power races will heat quicker , but will give you few less races , obviously you know every time you heat up a track tire , it takes longer to heat it up the next time you use it and so on and so forth.... The compound in the bridgestone i wouldnt say is better but because they take a bit longermto heat up anyways , its been said from a couple friends of mine thier getting more races out of them , not changing them out every third track day...
I can't comment on the BT014's that seemed to have gotten a bad rap, but I used BT56ss back in the day and those where great tires. On par with my then fav Michelin TX15/25
