Custom Red Bull Frame Sliders, DO IT YOURSELF! w/ Pics
Ok so i got the idea from a friend and his wheeler.
He took two red bull cans cut them up and put them on his forks, I thought it was cool and wanted to do it but instead to my frame sliders.
Materials: 2 Red Bull cans. 2 Zip ties ( White/Black for least noticable). Razorblade or Exacto Knife and of course your Frame Sliders.
Take the can.

Cut 1/3 of the can off with a Exacto Knife/ Razorblade.

This is now how big it should be ( give or take a few mm)

Now leave it a little big incase you need to cut off more, If you cut it short you have 2 waist 2 more bucks on sum damn red bull lol

It's a little to loose for me around the frame slider. (lol, dont you hate it when its loose)

So what i did is cut a line down the back where you cant see it anyways, So when you tighten the frame slider with the zip tie, the extra part of the can, can slide under itself

Then put it over the frame slider, and zip tie TIGHT at the part where the frame slider meets the frame and heres the finished project

Sorry for the shitty pics, they were taken with a camera fone. I like it and its defferent. To make the jagged edge look smoother where it meets the frame on the bike, just roll the bottom over a little to give it a smooth edge.
Hope you enjoi. I will perfect this better at a l8er date. All rep will be returned

disclaimer: I sell used tires (take-offs), these tires have been used at Jennings, Homestead, etc. (road courses for those that dont know) therefor these tires are more used up on the sides than in the middle,
