my vote goes for whatever bike you feel the most comfortable on, you have to ride, who gives two shits what Tom, Dick and Harry have to say. go to the dealership, sit on the bikes, compare riding position for what you plan on using the bike for, daily, weekend- short bursts/long street rides, or track.

too many people on here are bias, it like going up to a corvette owner and asking him if you should buy a Z06 or a mustang

also consider availability on aftermarket parts, cost, and service

bty, my vote goes towards a gsxr

need tires (take offs)? PM me
need a deal on a track day? PM me

disclaimer: I sell used tires (take-offs), these tires have been used at Jennings, Homestead, etc. (road courses for those that dont know) therefor these tires are more used up on the sides than in the middle,

U should buy whatever bike gets you the most p***y, cause no one here could ride one to the limit and afterall, don't most of the TR posters like to stand next to thier bikes at the lot or stuntwars?

if you guys didnt notice he didnt post up bikes that he was going to go race with on a track, i believe hes just looking for a nice bike at a decent price and good ergos. this is where i will say hands down get the z1000, you wont be dissapointed. and if you want to be hunched over and in the sporty type stance then i guess get a gsxr since they are the most comfortable of the RR models... dont waste your time on the yamahas bro. just my .02, you're gonna love the seating position on the Z.. depends if youre a naked lover or not though. personally i think the bike is hot.

They're all good bikes. I think the r6 looks the best, but I've whitnessed some reliability issues. For performance, gsxr 750.
