Rider Down - DJZStang1 - RIP
it was back by the pier, him and another rider were going, dj in front. for some reason which we will never know dj hit his brakes hard(locked them up) he and the other rider went skidding into the grass, dj hit a speed limit sign(broke it in half), kept going, hit the side of a tree, and threw a wire fence. the other bike ended up on the other side of the road. the other ride is home from the hospital. i should have pics up tomorrow. i didnt take my camara tonight.. but yea. it was very sad going to pick up the pieces of the bike..glad i got rid of mine.

RIP

I posted this in the other thread but will post it here as well, so some of you can understand the road better....
For those of you that do not know that road.....It has portions of the road that are straight,(long stretches) then it suddenly turns into some hard twisties. It is possible that he was doing 130 on the straight, slowing down to take the twistie. Like I said on the TF side. Too many people are buying bikes and assuming they can handle twisties, because it looks easy. Trust me it takes A LOT of practice. I am not sure if the newbie had ever been on that road prior to that night, but if he had, he would of knew how fast the curves come up. I have road it MANY times and it can be a bitch. RIDE WITHIN YOUR LIMITS!
