So I replaced the R1...
With a brand new 06 GSXR 1000! It was a leftover model from last year and I scooped it for 8,499!!! Its not as sexy as the R1, but the price was right and with the few mods I made it pulls like an angry animal.
Mods so far:
520 conversion with gold DID chain -1 tooth up front
M4 GP slip on
Dunlop Qualifiers
Sato rearsets
Gilles shift rod support brace (brilliant liitle device)
Hotbodies undertail
Speedohealer
Scorpio Alarm
modified plate mount from destroyed R1

Next mods will be a Traxxion Dynamics AK20 fork cartridge kit and a Penski rear shock
