I just got my bike back, Haul it back to my work so I can drop off some stuff I picked up from the store and to drain my radiator. So I get the bitch off. Put the kick stand up. And the Head honcho was there and we were talking and he asks to get on my bike and im like sure go ahead, hes my boss.

So he like goes a little bit...and goes down.

My jaw drops and my eyes pop out of my fucking head.

Only damage was the shifter peg broke and the clutch lever broke in half.

Now I wouldt be pissed because he said hes picking up the bill. But I HAVE A GOD DAMN RACE SATURDAY AND I HAVE TO FUCKING WORK ALL FRIDAY.
I CANT DO A FUCKING RACE WITHOUT SHIFTER PEG. I told him That once I find the part im closing down the shop while I haul the bike there and pick it up.


So there lies my question.

I need a shifter quick, and if they dont have mine in stock, would gixxer shit fit mine? I just need the little piece that has the peg on it, everything else is fine.

I cant belive this shit happen 1 day before my track day.

Make a Home Depot run...

A long bolt, some rubber tube, *a metal strip with two holes in it (drill em), and a clamp.

lol, last resort of course....

 

Will I be able to drill into the piece? I thought it would just shatter? Ill ****** rig the fuck out of it I dont care, That is unless the 3 places have my part instock and can fix it that day

Dont let people ride my bike.

Should be aluminum which won't shatter, but might crack if your not careful or over tighten the bolt.
