Does anybody use them on track days?

How hard are they to get or are they just an order form away?

i can get good slicks

 

i was just curious about them and in getting them. .

does anybody actually use them? and what kind does Jennings sell, since that will probably be my first track to hit up most often?

 

What times are you running now? Trust me, you don't want to be 'that guy' with race slicks running mid '30's in the beginner group.

Slicks have some serious disadvantages over DOT race tires unless you REALLY need them.

 

i raced with slicks and they stuck like glue. i love them. i had full confidience in the corners with those tires. but if you dont have tire warmers please take the first lape in the mid 40's because you need to give them time to heat up.

 

i thought u had to have a race license to get slicks??? i know you can get em as take-offs or somebody with a license can get them for you...oh and manny can get you some good shit...nevedr ran slicks run dot race rubber and loved it....

 

yea i can get AMA tires you cant get at a jennings trackday... and they are unreal... full throttle in a 45 degree lean on a gsxr 1000... no spin (with proper suspension set up)
