Default Fuel Delivery System

Hello bike tech, Im looking for some advice. I have been charged with the design and implementation of a fuel delivery system for an SAE Formula Hybrid car, and I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.

The car utilizes a 2005 Kawasaki EX250 engine, completely unmodified, and we will be running twin 40mm carbs with velocity stacks. We are trying to run the engine as lean as can be done safely(along with twin radiators to help with cooling lost by the use of less fuel), as the competition is for Hybrids, and fuel use counts big for points. We need a very low flowing fuel pump, preferably an inline pump, that would exert very little draw on the vehicles capacitors, and would be compact enough to fit into the limited space we're working with.

Good links/tips/advice = reps.

Sponsorship is also an option, give us a fuel pump/donations, we can put your name on the car.

Look at the old Hayabusa external fuel pumps. They are faily small and can be mounted anywhere along the fuel line. As for flow, it's probably more then what you prefer, but if you use a PC3 you should be able to lean it out pretty well running fuel injection.

Do you have to argue over stupid pointless shit on the Internet?

ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS 12- VOLT

check out p74021

you could also run an oil cooler along with colder burning plugs to keep temp down.
