it was too hot to wear my jacket last nite. it was so hot i had some major swamp ass and had an ass print on my pants from the sweat lol. when i go on a serious ride i def wear the gear. but on hot nites like last nite where im just riding to qsl a helmet and gloves do just fine.

ever heard the quote dress for the wreck not the ride??? unexpected stuff happens to everyone, I would rather be hot and have a lil bit of sweat on my back that a few layers of skin missing and go to the hospital where they have to scrub it before they can treat it- I guess you have never had that happen to ya???

what about the unexpected car that pulls out in front of you, or the dog that run across the road, or the patch of sand in the corner that you dont see,

im pretty good at predicting traffic movement, but i also ride down with like 40 bikes so if someone cant see 40 bikes comin at them then i guess thier gonna take us all out lol. im all for gear, when its cooler out i wear my jacket all the time. but right now its just too damn hot to wear it during the day unless im goin on a north run with knine or somethin in the mornin.

yea when i was 16 i lowsided at like 35-40mph. showers were painful for the next few days to say the least lol.

Yes indeed, don't forget the kid wearing his chest protecter in the restaurant 
Besides the lack of gear (not that I'm judging) I had a great time out there and will be making bike night at Quaker a weekly event.
