636 tail light!?

Question 636 tail light!?

so a couple months back i got an intergrated tail light, now it doesnt fit snug with my tail end theres a gap inbetween the tail light and i dont like it... i heard from someone i must be missing a piece. did anyone with a 636 change their tail light and have the same problem? but fixed it?

ah im a perfectionist and that little thing bothers me... ive tried everything... super glue, silicone (sp?) velcrow, all the shit melts!

this happens to nearly all 636s and the solution is JV weld...find it at Walmart...smells funkeeeeeeeee but does the trick

i have yet to have this problem...... well... when i had my bike in the shop a few months back and they replaced the tail, they did not install the integrated back in snug.... i took it off 2 or 3 times before i actually got it to fit nice.... did u remember to take that little rubber thing off the original stock light and plug it in the holes of the new one? that could be the problem because i forgot that
if not... take ur tail off and keep trying... it will stay there u just have to get it right

it is real figity... but mine sits perfectly and its been that way for about 2 months now and i have had the integrated tail light since around may when i got the exhaust
