2ct Recall situation
Ok , dot from france.. Michelin and local dealers have told m no immediate danger , no incidents reported , no accidents either... other people from local spots have told me they have been falling apart on track day uses < (anyone care to agree or disagree).... WELL...... tonight after a 3 hour ride with my group , im on my way home and my front end starts wobbling.... Thinking its the street , i changed lanes 3 times riding on both sides of the lane , till i finally stopped.... its not a visible seperation , but somethings up... I run a tire shop and i know this isnt a simple balance issue...
Barneys , cycle springs , and sky powersports hav all told me 5 weeks on the new 2CT shipments...
Before i make a scene , im very curious what any of you might have to add... Thanks , reps will be given for helpful ideas

Sucks... it does sound like something is up with the tire.
Don't know what you mean by making a scene. But if all the shops have to wait 5weeks, no sizable tantrum will speed up that process.
For what it's worth did you check both tires for damage? Is the place you bought it from willing to replace it with a reg Pilot? There is no diff between the PP & 2ct other than the 20% softer shoulder only accessible at full lean.

Raul , when i mean making a scene , i had purchased these tires from team savage days before the recall came out , infact mounted them the night before the recall... I was told by a friend who works there that if i wanted i could negotiate getting a pair of bridgestone BD02's to make up for the onconvience of the loss of a daily driver...I dont mean an tantrem , ur right , that solves nothing.... I had the bike on the stand the other night , back tire is fine , and the front tire is very minor , something a rebalance could prolly get rid of , but the chance of getting worse im not willing to take... esp the way i ride on bike nights....
I took the 2CT's to two track days so far....no issues - although I did have a mysterious wobble in my rear - but it seems to have worked itself out...
