Hoochees and Gaps Gallore: "The Loop," Wolf Pen Gap, Deals Gap, etc -photos-
The cabin was amazing. When Chad told us that we were staying in a cabin, I was expecting sleeping bags inside a chicken coop, but hey, we were there to ride, not sleep right?

We were blown away when we pulled in to the drive way of this brand new custom cabin located on "the Loop." (you can see the road below)

If I had to guess, I'd say it was 2,000 sq ft + the basement. 2 bed + loft with bunk beds (you could sleep a lot of people there comfortably), hard wood floors, upgraded fixtures, upgraded appliances, upgraded counter top (but not granite) flat screen TVs in 3 rooms, brand new furniture (2 couches), bad ass grill to cook out on the porch, ceiling fans in every room and under the porch, jacuzzi tub in the master bath, Satellite TV so we got to watch MotoGP at Laguna Seca, but since it had DVR function, we rode all day and came back and watched the recording at night. You name it, it had it... oh wait, did you ask if it came with a motorcycle lift in the basement?

Why yes it did!!! And plenty of room to store probably 10 bikes inside the basement. Tools were provided as well as basic motorcycle necesities like compressor with air for the tires, chain lube, spary polish etc. If you didn't use the basement, you could store the bikes on the porch too.

north georgia cabin rentals cabin rentals cyclecabin.com is the place to stay!
The owners are really nice, and obviously they are catering to the motorcycle enthusiast.
I'm not sure you could stay at a better place than this. Every morning we rode down the driveway 50ft and BAM we were on "the Loop" which for those of you that don't know, is another road like Deals Gap. We were instantly driving on killer roads!!
So saying you stayed on the Loop/Blood Mountain is "like" saying you cabin was on Deals Gap... it is that good.
Most people probably don't know that Deals Gap is only one of many many many awesome roads and there are tons of "Gaps" to ride in North Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Wow you guys are killing me.
We stayed at Vogal state park 2 years ago. Just north from that cabin according to their map. Last year we stayed at a huge cabin at Lake Toxaway NC but it was a little further out for most of the good roads.
This year is not looking good. Might not have anyone to go with.

Honestly, if someone tried to tell me about the place we stayed, I'd swear they were exagerating without photos to prove it... to good to be true
Chad really out did himself on finding it!!
This is the map of "The Loop" aka the "Cooler Run"

The cabin was literally on the "horseshoe" on Blood Mountain.

Here is a map of the Dragon.

All the roads are awesome. Some are very technical and others are faster, but still technical by Florida standards.

Wolf Pen Gap (on "The Loop"), and Deals Gap were very technical. Blood Mountain on the other side of the Loop (129) is much faster and the Richard Russell is a mix of both, technical, but smoother and quick in some parts.
