Dang..... why all the hate towards the Turbo / Nitrous Busas?

You know we are just over compensating anyway

Note: I rode a YZF 600 a few times while my Turbo / Nitrous Busa was all blown-up (Courtesy of my good buddy Eric aka: EZ Scuba.

It was a fun bike, no complaints.

My Brother had one... it is pretty damn nice. Fully adjustable suspension, close to 100hp to the rear. I remember it being pretty nimble too...

My brother was a demon on that thing. He had friends on CBR900rr that couldn't stay with him in the bends...

OK YZF600R owner checking in.

I have a 2001 and i love it. Just as stated above its a great middle class bike, and for being a little on the heavy side the damn thing still flicks around in the curves pretty damn easy Not to mention the balence point is nice too The riding position is nice.

I LOVE my thundercat

they are solid bikes. i had one for a year in a half and completely trashed it. wrecked it 3 times, but never totalled it even after flipping a wheelie at 60mph. got tired of it after about a year and was anxious to get a bigger bike so i just got into wheelies for my kicks and that didnt turn out to well lol... btw, no power wheelies on em, CLUTCH UPS ONLY. and thats only 1st gear. but i was a lard ass back when i had it, maybe able to get em in 2nd also.

I say get it, but the top end will only make you smile for a short while. its around 140-150 give or take your weight... and supersport 600's will dust you. but you will be comfortable so it makes up for the lack in top speed lol. oh and one other downfall is the bananna seat. im not a fan of em but sometimes there appropriate. i loved my bike when i had it. its like a kid, even if its ugly you still love it

as someone who has a 99 cbr 600 and i have rode with some one who had the yzf 600 they were pretty close. i felt and maybe i am biased that my cbr looked sportier than the yzf but the yzf seems like it would have been a more comfortable ride with the way the rider can site more upright. it was my understanding the yzf weighted more than my cbr but i am not 100 percent sure. i was about 75lbs heavier than the guy on the yzf and the bikes were kind of even. cbr might have been mear inchs faster. my cbr moves pretty good with a 250 lb rider against a yzf with a rider at about 170-175lb. if i remember right it was like a 2002 yzf for close to that
