So what has been your personal favorite bike to ride?
So what has been your personal favorite bike to ride?
Without a doubt, for me, it was Big Red.
Back when she was stock wheelbase and less powerful.
There really has been nothing for me on two-wheels that compared.
Even when she was making more rwhp... she was still more fun at 58 inches and 300rwhp.
Let's hear your favorite, and post pics if you've got'em.
Yes.... I am sitting here missin ole girl

One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

My friends dropped and stretched 1000K6. Yeah it was weird pulling out of the parking lot. But getting on it and not having the front end com up compared to my 600 put a huge grin on my face. I would love to have one bike for twisties and one for cruising such at that.

Wow a thread that is even worth replying to on this board..thank you Cecil!!
I would have to say hands down my 2005 Honda RC51 . Just something about that bike when you started it up and heard those Sato pipes and the gear driven cams, it just sent a shiver down my spine.

I rode an old GSXR-1100 that was a blast. Just a little sore on the eyes.

I've ridden quite a few sport bikes an the 93+ ZX7R is to this day one of my favorites. It's heavy, and not as powerful as bikes today, but the planted feel in mid turn and it's front end feedback take a 2nd seat to none even by todays standards.
I rode one with a 93 zx9 motor & 40mm flatslides and that thing was sick. And my brother has a 92(no ram air) he had restored we miss dearly. Great Handling bike...
But right now, for me it's still the Z1000. If you haven't ridden a Z yet, then there is no way I can explain how incredibly awesome it is to ride a bike with handlebars instead of clip-ons. I initially bought the Z to slow myself down, and all I can tell you is that once I fixed the suspension & brakes, I ride it harder than I intended... wrecked one & got another after considering buying another sportbike... it's that much fun. See Sig
