im pretty sure his ego is fucked up, but i didnt get the fucking ticket or mine or by boys bike towed away, to me, he was cool in that fact, could i have out run him???? yeah not a problem, did he already have my tag number, im pretty sure he did. he was on a power trip no doubt, but he let me go with out even asking any other questions.

 

so you think its fair to expect 20year old kids to have onesided respect for 40year old men that carry guns and show none for them? then laughing and talking shit when someones young son dies over a mistake?

Absolutely.
Respect for Authority is an expectation..... always has been, always will be.... deal with it... it is reality.
Children should have already learned this by the time they are 20... but no offense.... 20 year old males have never been known for their good judgement.

However, respect for immature adolescence is not an expectation.
If someone wants respect, they should start by carrying themselves in a manner worthy of such an honor.... vice bitching and complaining 24 X 7.

I've got many friends that are LEOs, and they are good people... Fathers, Husbands, Friends, Neighbors.... many of which were Marines... just like myself.

People are people... are we are all flawed at some level.

You and I have met several times.
You've always appeared to be level headed with a good head on your shoulders.
I just understand all the negativity and resentment you have towards Police.

You have to realize that people are people, regardless of thier job, nationality, or socio-economic standing.

 

+1...too bad police don't have to abide by this like we do. Apparently having a badge, not the way they carry themselves is enough to warrant honoring them.

Same goes towards their resentment of us.

Give it up man, John knows every single cop, TV personality and aliens from out of space in a personal level... so he is clearly the exception and his judgement of others is without flaw.

When he says all cops are something... it is so, because he not only has met every single one of them... he also knows those that will become cops in the future as well.

 

Fuck yeah! They've got a lotta decent gun gear for sale. I joined - although I don't think I'll ever visit any forum but the Gear for sale and Firearms forums....I have to say though..most of their views on gun ownership are surprisingly refreshing.

 

Sounds like he may have some "Chuck Norris" traits.... better not piss him off
