Wrecked the R1 at 90mph!!!!
Just like the title says, i had a little accident. I've noticed there have been a few threads latley about gear so I figured I would share a story and some pics. First of all I live in Korea right and riding on the street here has no real legal consiquences. Knee dragging in the mountians is a common practice here, which is why I and almost every rider here wears a one piece suit while riding.
The story is pretty simple went in alittle too hot, turned in hard, and caught the footpeg. Sliding down the asphalt somewhere in the neighborhood of 90 Mph I realized that $1200 is really not that much to pay for leathers. I slid probably 130 feet before I hit the concrete barricade (didn't hit it hard). Now comes the cool part... I stood up took off my helmet and picked up the remains of my bike. No scratches, no bruises, nothing.

This last picture was taken from the point where I started sliding, you can see that it is aprett good distance to that wall!
