Damn Chad... you did good finding a Suomy for $100.
F2b, which KBC do you have. I have 3 VR2's and they flow a ton of air. Very noisy due to that, but don't really bother my eyes to much, they have Chin guards.
The EXO 400 is much quieter, and if you purchase the AeroSkirt, it does great job of blacking air rushing in from underneath the chin area...

i have the vr3 strada..... the air comes around where the visor pops in and ur right about the noise... i have very sensitive eyes they dry out real easy... i can walk outside walk back inside to my work and boom their dried... but i do have to say this is the worst helmet i have... i waited 2 months for a chrome visor... 2 freaking months, and 1 day i go out to go riding with some friends (bikes and cars) and i turn around to see if my friend is still behind me.. and were going about a good 30 mph... and BOOm there goes my visor as im looking behind me... i watched my waiting for 2 months get ran out by my friend and flatted

I think it is more the model than anything. You could go buy another brand and run into the same problem. Best bet is to buy at a place like Cycle Gear that allows you to return the helmet if you don't like it... that way you can be sure the helmet you buy won't dry out your contacts.

The VR2 does allow more air in and hits my eyes as well. The KBC Force RR series I had no issues with air hitting my eyes.
I think it is more the model than anything. You could go buy another brand and run into the same problem. Best bet is to buy at a place like Cycle Gear that allows you to return the helmet if you don't like it... that way you can be sure the helmet you buy won't dry out your contacts.
