i have to say i use to be a frequent grandy visiter and raced my bike many times. years ago i use to go out there with my 87 monte ss. but after thinkin about how i would rip passed the entrence and do stupid shit i consider myself lucky. i still go to ccc to watch maybe once every month or two. i turn down many challenges just because its officially too dangerous. i remember years ago going to industrial areas and getin it broken up by the cops. what sucks is its 20$ to get in and run at sunshine which some people dont have or say "why go there when we can go here for free" i think buying a piece of property and paving a mile long strip for people to stunt on somedays and race on others would be a great idea with a use at your own risk kind of thing. 5$ charge to get in and sign a waver saying your liable for your own safety. i wish the dam owner of the airstrip in trinity wasnt such a ass and would have considered the goldmine he was having people arrested on and not ripping it down.

 

but to get a peice of property at a decent price these days and on top of that paving a 100' strip a mile long will not be cheap man....but that is a great idea i would love to build a private road course in the area but the way land and construction costs not only that but permitting and impact fees i could go on and on man but its just not plausiable these days man shit is just crazy around here...but that is a good thought...

 

illegal street racing not koo man many innocent ppl have died because of it.... but im not gonna be a hypocrite myself cause i speed all the time but i dont like racing ppl cause of that fact.... and i definitely would never racing someone on a bike....
