RIP Dennis Krone... cycle springs mechanic
Clearwater motorcyclist killed
DUNEDIN -- A Clearwater man was killed after witnesses told investigators he sped through a Dunedin intersection on the back wheel of his motorcycle.
Joseph Krone, 26, was traveling south on Belcher Road "at a high rate of speed" just before 8 p.m. Wednesday through the Andrews Court intersection, investigators said.
Witnesses told Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies Krone was driving on the back wheel of his motorcycle when he lost control and struck a curb. Authorities said Krone and the motorcycle skidded through a grass median, finally coming to a rest one block away at Evans Road.
Krone was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:37 p.m.

i was riding with him but a few hours before this. One of my closest guys, and the greatest mechanic to ever touch my bike. <3 Lots of love RIP
