its not as bad as you think... after living off the interstate... (you look over my fence and theres i-275...) you get used to all the people flying by... ive heard it all... bikes sound like mosquitoes and those fart cans well their just fart cans... i really dont think i can sleep without the noise i love it, it puts me to sleep... even though when they do close the whole interstate for the president to drive on it was pretty peaceful

Target fixation can happen on any road. Any curve taken too fast can cause a crash.

There are two places that can catch out the unwary. Going north, 90 degree right turn just before the golfcart crossing. And that left turn in the middle of the esses sometime after that, decreasing radius and if remember right also a bit off camber. No biggie if you know the road, fun actually, but can surprise new riders.

But I know what you mean, it's a nice road with some nice twisties but it doesn't seem like the type of road to cause as many rider down threads as it does.

I wouldn't want to ride that road at night too much. Couple years ago, at my old job, used to take it on my way home from work around 1am each night. Saw lots of opposums, racoons and other critters on the road. Needless to say, I took it very easy always watching for those glaring eyes and darker/lighter spots indicating road kill.

i'll add to this.. you shouldnt ride twisties at night anywhere... you never know whats going to be laying in the road around the bend. Then cars and such to worry about as well. Daylight takes out a lot of risks in that you can see a lot more and farther ahead. Seems to me riding corners at night is asking for trouble.

so i finally went out to ride patterson...fun road. the best ive ridden so far.... i think north bound is more fun than south but south has some blind corners that make things intresting ...
