Default Engine life span of a bike?

I know this is a very vague question but what kind of miles does the average sport bike get out of an average abused but maintained engine? looking at 600cc more or less.

90% of the serious damange comes when pushing the motor for the last 10% of performance. Change the oil and filter regularly, keep it out of the red, watch for leaking hoses, change the coolant once a year and everything should be fine for many, many years.

I have an uncle that put 200k+ miles on a Kawasaki Zephyr 750. Delivery service in PR. Not really abused, but still... Shows a bike can go as long as car...

They are like anything else, the more you take care of it the longer it will live. Keep up on the oil changes and regular maintinance and you won't have to worry about the engine life.

ok, thats good to know. I was just wondering because it seems like people are shying away from bikes with 15k miles or more. I wasn't sure if the 15k mark was like the 100 or 150k mark on a car.
