Default 04 gsxr 750 help!

so i went and worked on my bike today and did a oil change, then i went to change the clutch bc i figured 15k miles on it, it may be time for a new one but it didnt need it. it measured out fine so i put in heavier springs and it messed up my clutch adjustment. so i adjusted it on the motor like ive done before and in the book and now the clutch only disenguages at full pull and enguages at 1/4 of a inch out from full pull.... it use to enguage at the last 1/2in when releasing and its messing up my riding! help! how do i get it back to where it was without pullin the springs back out!
