Default Local shops that carry one piece suits..

Thinking about picking up a suit off a member on 600rr.net, Teknic Violator suit. Any opinions on this? Also, are there any local shops that stock suits so I could try one on and see if it's the correct size? Thanks.

Matt

I'm too lazy $800 suit thats been worn a handful of times for $450. I just dunno if I should take the plunge to buy a suit when I mostly ride spirited on weekends...

you wont regret it....i have a Tecknic violator and i love the suit....lots of peeps wear full leathers for street riding (me and about 10 other members of this board) and it doesnt hurt to have the extra protection...plus leathers seem to inspire more confidence on the bike (which could be a BAD thing)...

buy it if it matches your coat side (42,44 or whatever) and it will fit good enough...

Yeah I figure I wouldn't be worried about pushing it and putting a knee down with jeans and all that...

cyclegear can order em for you and if it doesnt fit they give you your money back, or re order it till they find the right one for you. they can pretty much get you any suit you need.

yea they will do this but they have stuff over priced, so i would go with them if you want to spend the money. Go by the size charts that teknic has, they are a pretty good indication on what size you should get. Oh and thats a great suit i have crash tested it atleast 10 times and its still together in one peice (patched up holes here and there) and its an extremely comfortable and safe suit, held up much better than my 600rr did in its final crash. one more thing, make sure you get a suit thats really snug because it will stretch out a lot when its broken in. my size 40 fits to big now so i might need another soon.
