Didn't see what happened, but a rider was down & out on the road side. Looked like a flat black CBR. Hope he's OK.

Yea, 2 fire trucks were pulling up as I passed. It looked like he hit the back of a moving car... appeared to be completely the result of doing something really dumb... hence the title splat (sorry if I offended anyone)

Yeah you've got to stay focused on the ride! Splat was pretty bad man but I'm sure it wasn't meant to offend.

 

yep...we saw a lifeflight helicopter take a sportbike rider out of Eustis today...nasty....20 minutes later....i was at 135 in a sweeper....we all know the risks we take....

 

I think most people have trouble finding sympathy for someone who gets hurt doing something really ignorant. I've been down and I didn't expect much sympathy seeing how I was speeding at the time.

 

yeah, we all know the risks of riding, but what happens if you have a close relative crash for being dumb, you'd be pretty pissed off too if we said he went "splat"...so look at it as if you were in the situation, then u wouldnt say some stupid shit like that

 

i have a problem with people that say this b.s. when they jump to conclusions without knowing what happened..he could have got cut off ect: anyone who starts a thread with splat is a fucking dumbass....let all of biketech see this...i just have more respect for the rider than they do regardless of what everyone thinks. I have had friends that have got in an accident at 45 when a driver pulled out im front of them and they didnt make it.Those who start a threa with "splat" dosnt fucking belong in biketech to begin with..exuse my bad language im just trying to weed out the dumbasses.....
