A buddy and I each have one of these little electric bikes for our kids. Last Sunday we strapped hockey pads on our legs and started goofing off out in front of his house (wet blacktop that morning). We accidentally discovered that we could slide the front end without wiping out and when it did get away a bit we could often catch it on our knee. I can't imagine trying to get comfortable with that sensation on a full sized bike without having experienced it at about 6mph and only 8-16 inches off the ground first.
