For someone who maybe has ridden both, how does this bike compare to the RC51 as far as handling? Which is better on corners and such? Just curious

simply put...the TLR is a fuggin pig compared to the RC51....i once went through a v-twin phase and somehow schemed a ride on both with every intent of purchasing one of them...although the RC was new than the TLR ('03 Sp-3 vs. '01 TLR), there was no choice at all between them....RC hands down....seemed like the TL had some more power in the mid-range RPM's...but that was the only advantage...also the brakes on a TL are made of wood....

rc51 all the way... poopsuki never did well with it in racing either.

+ i think the body work on the tl, 1st gen sv and busa where all drawn up to look like real life bad anime...

 

Both bikes are pretty comparable. TL really needs suspension upgrades. Its pretty weak out the box. RC has a better suspension out the box but even it could use some work. (Dan Klye racing is the RC master)

Since you already have a RC I'd stick with it and do some upgrades.

I think TL's look freaking ugly, RC's are gorgeous.
